Governing Principles–
The Governing Principles of the College of Engineering are encapsulated in the “House of Quality”, along with its mission, vision, values, strategies, and governance.

Mission–
The mission of the College of Engineering is to educate students in science, engineering, and humanities that will best serve the nation and society.

–Vision–
The vision of the College of Engineering is to educate students who will thrive in a globally competitive environment for careers in engineering, research and related profession.

–Values–
The vision of the College of Engineering is to pursue the university motto of simplicity, firmness, perseverance, and fulfillment, while upholding the five disciplines of education and academic freedom.

–Strategies–
The strategies of the College of Engineering are to:
1.  Educate students for careers of leadership and build positive self identity.
2.  Establish uniqueness and strengths of each program and promote excellence in scholarship and research.
3. Use limited resources with flexibility and promote collaborative partnerships with industry and government.
4. Provide rich learning and research environment for each department and program.

–Governance–
The governance of the College of Engineering served as the foundation of the “House of Quality” is based on globalization, information-oriented education, future-oriented education and total quality management.
